Two can play this game Swedish trainer brand Tretorn has been around since 1891 and, remarkably, it's still managed to remain cool. Whether it was supplying tennis champions in the 1970s or having a brief burst of popularity with the hip-hop crowd in the 80s, the brand has remained relevant. Nowadays, Tretorn is the king of collaboration, having worked with the likes of Comme des Garçons, Acne and Opening Ceremony. To that list you can now add Club Monaco, which has worked with Tretorn to revive the classic Nylite tennis shoe (above; HK$1,090), with a luxurious Italian twill for the shoe's upper. Club Monaco x Tretorn is available at Club Monaco, New World Tower, 16 Queen's Road Central.

Scent of a man OK, this week seems to be a Swedish love in as we were also quite taken by the new Super Cedar fragrance (above right; 50ml, HK$980; 100ml, HK$1,500) from Stockholm's Byredo. Given the cedar in the title, you can imagine the scent is quite masculine and they've thrown a bit of silver musk and Haitian vetiver in there (just pretend you know what this stuff means). Overall, the smell should remind you of a Scandinavian forest … in a good way. Byredo is available at Lane Crawford, Times Square, Causeway Bay.
