Cruise line Royal Caribbean will be basing its Voyager of the Seas (above) at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal from June to October this year. The largest cruise liner in the world when she was launched, in 1999, the Voyager can accommodate more than 3,100 passengers and will be sailing from Hong Kong to various ports in China, Taiwan, Japan, and Vietnam.
Nineteen cruises, ranging from four to eight nights in duration, are priced from HK$3,918 per person for a four-night trip to Taipei and Kaohsiung, to HK$7,798 for an Okinawa-Hiroshima-Beppu cruise. Note that the lowest prices will only get you an Interior Stateroom, which, despite the promising name, is rather snug, to say the least.
