EVENT Occasions 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner

Happenings: The public relations firm started by Pansy Ho and Andrew Yuen has been behind some of the city's best parties since it was founded in 1987. The firm hosted a grand celebration to commemorate its 25th anniversary. The city's rich and famous showed up en masse to congratulate the top event planners. The star-studded party was attended by Canto-pop stars Gigi Leung, Kelly Chen and Karen Mok, and well-heeled socialites such as Michelle Ong-Cheung, Eric Fok and Fanny Sit. Guests mingled at a cocktail before the sold-out charity gala dinner in aid of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund. A few celebrity guests, including Carina Lau, appeared briefly for the cocktail before making an exit. 

Wow, a full-on gold-foiled tuxedo jacket! I thought they said the dress code was just a touch of gold. The others must have missed the memo.

Yes! I've lost four kilos in the past three weeks because I'm about to start filming.

What's the movie about?
I don't have more details to share at this moment, but all I can say is that the film will be directed by Pang Ho-cheung. In the film, Louis Koo and I will be a couple.

Is the character challenging for you?
Yes, as Pang is a very serious filmmaker. We confirmed making the movie about six months ago, and he has since sent me a list of movies to watch for my reference.

What's your dieting tip?
I've skipped dinner for the past three weeks. I also cut down on fat and carbs. My husband has been really supportive - he didn't tempt me with his delicious home-cooked meals.
