HAPPENINGS: The timeless style of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, has inspired generations. Diana was a known Tod’s bag lover. Photos of her taken at her public appearances were edited and published by Electa. The Italian leather accessories brand decided to showcase these images of the style icon carrying its signature purses.

The brand also took the chance to launch its latest D.D. Bag collection. We spotted sisters-about-town Cissy and Irene Wang, and supermodels Janet Ma, Kathy Chow and Qiqi Yam catching up at the cocktail. We also saw a cute toddler tagging along with stylish parents.

That’s Prince William in the picture – he had a lot of hair when he was a baby!

What kind of bags do you fancy?
I love big bags and clutches. My day bag is usually a hold-all tote that I can just chuck everything in, especially when I'm travelling. I always have a shawl in my bag. I use clutches for evening events. I also like oversized clutches.

Tell us a bag you are coveting.
I want clutches in a rainbow of colours. If you haven't already got one in versatile black, gold and silver, get those first. I also love Tod's D-Styling mini python bag. It's light, spacious and perfect for summer.

Do you have any summer getaway plans?
I actually just came back from South America with my husband. It was my first time there. It was a perfect journey. The wild animals were amazing.
