HAPPENINGS: There was certainly no better fit than Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the supermodel-turned-wife of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, for the launch of Bulgari's Diva collection during Paris Haute Couture week.

The stunning beauty was joined by a constellation of celebrities, including Bradley Cooper, Milla Jovovich, Virginie Ledoyen, Liu Wen and Lv Yan. Guests dazzled in one-of-a-kind high jewellery pieces inspired by the style icons of the '50s and '60s, such as Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren. Guests mingled on the lawn of the chic Parisienne hotel, while DJ and hipster Alexa Chung flew in from London to spin for the party.
