Golden touch

Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong turns 50 this year, and the luxury hotel is splashing out for its golden 50th anniversary celebrations. The Mandarin Spa is offering a range of gold-inspired treatments to go with its theme, and the newest one - the 90-minute Golden Body Treatment - was launched just a few days ago on September 1, featuring a golden body scrub and massage with the spa's Golden Shine oil. If you want the full 24ct treatment, the Golden Utopia Facial includes a 24ct gold natural collagen mask - inspired by the queen of glam, Cleopatra, who was said to have applied a gold mask before bed to enhance her looks - while the Gold Finger Manicure (pictured) features a gold-and-sea salt exfoliation followed by a 24ct gold collagen hand mask.
