Dishing up luxury mushrooms


When it comes to true luxury on a plate and your palate, white truffles come to mind. Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong will showcase this much-coveted ingredient in a five-course tasting dinner priced at HK$2,988 designed by chef Pierre Gagnaire and chef de cuisine Jean-Denis Le Bras for the Michelin-starred Pierre restaurant. The dishes, including Carnaroli risotto with pumpkin, tiny artichokes and arugula chantilly, and a veal blanquette served with enoki mushroom and celery, are also available individually. The course will be available from November 4 until November 16 to 23 (depending on season).
