Whether it's a glass of wine and jazz, or a spirit chaser with house beats, there is something very complementary about alcohol and music. In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Scottish company Linn takes this concept to the next level with their new turntable fashioned out of whisky casks.

Teaming up with Scottish distillery Highland Park, the audio/visual company created 40 limited-edition Sondek LP12 turntables carved out of the distiller's solid oak, available for US$40,000. The turntable features Linn's patented low-noise, single-point bearing's absolute advancement, and will appeal to music and whisky lovers alike.
