EVENT Franck Muller “Crazy Hours” 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner
WHERE Diamond Ballroom, Ritz-Carlton

HAPPENINGS: Ten years ago, creativity met craftsmanship in Franck Muller's Crazy Hours watches. To commemorate this milestone, Franck Muller, co-founder of the Swiss brand, graced Hong Kong with his presence and celebrated with a host of celebrities and socialites who wore the distinctive timepieces.

Brand Ambassador Cheung Chi-lam rocked a Thunderbolt Tourbillon, while Korean icon Lee Byung-hun showed off his Giga Tourbillon and Michelle Reis flaunted a Round Tourbillon. Also at the gala dinner were Donnie Yen and wife Cissy Wang, and singer-actress Linda Wong. Guests enjoyed the smooth sultry vocals of Genevieve Marentette and New York Broadway dance performances choreographed to reflect the eccentric and creative design of the celebrated watch collection.

CHIC CHAT with Cheung Chi-lam

Was your hit Captain Cool character in Triumph in the Skies II challenging to portray?
I enjoyed the challenge. I like to interpret characters that are different from me.

What's your style when you're not working?
I usually wear T-shirts and jeans. Now I'm turning to shirts too for a more mature look.

What are the secrets to your youthful look?
Getting enough sleep and working out.

Would you encourage your son to join showbiz?
I wouldn't encourage him to go into the business because there are many other occupations he could take up to contribute to society.
