Happenings: The annual celebration at Central's Landmark mall adopted a green theme this year - think forest fairies and an edible garden dessert buffet. The party pack was out in force for the night's retail therapy. We spotted socialites Anina Ho and Maria Wu checking out the latest fashion at Chloé while sweet couple Leonard and Candice Chao sipped tea at Blanc de Chine. Before pop diva Coco Lee began her shop-hopping journey, she took to the stage and serenaded the hall of fans. She joined the excited crowd as she sashayed off the stage. American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee put a perfect end to the soiree.

How frequently do you resort to retail therapy?
	I'd say as often as possible, but for serious shopping, I go with my mum. And I definitely have a weakness for shoes. 
Tell us some of your autumn/winter top fashion picks.
	Black lace is definitely in. Black leather is hot too. Remember to add a pop of colour to your all-black look with bright-coloured accessories or lipstick. A pair of red heels always does the trick. 
We love your new album. Where did you get your inspiration?
	I got my inspiration from different places. Some were from my past experiences, some were from people in my life and lots were from my fans. 
You've been in the industry for almost 20 years now. How does music continue to fascinate you?
	I'm extremely passionate about music. I love seeing people being happy and enjoying themselves. 
You are one of the judges in a singing talent show. What advice do you have for aspiring singers?
	Work really hard and believe in yourself. Opportunities are for those who come prepared. Respect others and be humble.
 
This is probably the only night of the year when the Landmark is so packed, unless they throw another fun shopping night with free-flowing booze.
