EVENT Ermenegildo Zegna 50th Wool Trophy Exhibition
WHERE IFC Mall, Central
Happenings: After a grand celebration of its 50th Wool Trophy in Sydney this year, Italian luxury brand Ermenegildo Zegna moved the party to Hong Kong with a special three-day exhibition at IFC Mall.
High-profile guests flocked to the cocktail launch, including Golden Horse Awards Best Actor nominees Tony Leung Ka-fai and Nick Cheung, and an array of dapper gents, such as famed architect Andre Fu, barrister and charity founder Brandon Chau and businessman Leonard Chao. While sipping Champagne and indulging in hors d'oeuvres, guests also got a first look at the Wool Trophy 2013 Limited Edition Capsule Collection.
I can’t wait to see Nick Cheung suited up in person. I adore him!

You look great. Tell us about your suit tonight.
I'm wearing a smoking jacket by Zegna. I like that it's simple and elegant and I can dress it up or down. My shoes are also by Zegna. I think they're really elegant.
What makes a good suit?
Most of my suits are tailor-made. I wear them all the time and maybe one day I'll pass them on to my children.
How is your charity going?
Pretty good. We had a fund-raising concert recently by famous pianist Warren Lee. We managed to raise enough funds for the next two years.
Do you plan to hold more concerts in the future?
I think classical concert s are a good idea. We are a local charity and we hope to promote local talent. Also, classical concerts are inspiring for Hong Kong teenagers because they don't often get the chance to go to one.
