EVENT Valentino Flagship Store Grand Opening
WHERE IAPM, Shanghai
: Valentino opened its first flagship store in Shanghai with a bang. The two-storey shop, designed by famous architect David Chipperfield, is the luxury fashion house's largest flagship store outside Milan. CEO Stefano Sassi, creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli flew in for the grand opening.
We spotted celebrities from Hong Kong, the mainland and Taipei, including actresses Carina Lau, Zhang Ziyi and Chen Luyu. Lau was especially excited as the brand donated part of the sales from its Collection Shanghai to the TLC charity she co-founded with actor husband Tony Leung Chiu-wai. After the store opening, the stylish pack swarmed Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal for an exclusive fashion presentation.
