HAPPENINGS: Style is essential when it comes to beauty, fashion and home décor. Aerin Lauder, grand-daughter of cosmetics goddess Estée Lauder, certainly has that. In collaboration with BLITZ Lane Crawford, the designer's eponymous brand was introduced in Hong Kong. Socialites and special guests, including the designer's father Ronald Lauder, joined her at the launch party. Lauder designed "a store within a store" at Lane Crawford which featured AERIN furniture styled to create the ambience of a cosy home.

As guests mingled over Champagne and hors d'oeuvres, they also checked out delightful floral scents from the designer's fragrance collection and flicked through her book . Spotted chatting with the Lauders was fellow designer Fiona Kutor Marin. Also present were Anne Wang-Liu and Leigh Tung-Chou.

OVERHEARD This sofa is supercomfy! I’ll sit back and relax while you get me more Champagne.
