Miele unveils luxury wine cellar-cum-coffee maker trunk

German luxury appliance maker Miele has launched a limited-edition bespoke trunk for the home that will wow guests with its luxurious design.

Miele commissioned luxury Parisian trunk maker T.T. Trunks to create 10 made-to-order pieces fully customised to one's taste. Each trunk takes more than 200 hours to craft using premium full-grain leather, accessorised by metallic details made of brass, palladium or 24ct gold to one's liking.

The trunk features a built-in wine cellar with a 38-bottle capacity and two temperature zones, as well as the brand's newly-launched PureLine coffee maker. It can be transformed into a cosy cafe with compartments for tea and coffee accessories, plus a cup-warming drawer. Make an appointment for a private viewing. Prices start at HK$680,000.
