Exclusive / Neo Romanticist Rochas, Valentino, Giambatista Valli at Paris Fashion Week

STYLE travelled to the city of fashion to see the trends unfold and the major players behind. Read on for our Paris Fashion Week round-up, our favourite looks and pieces that we can’t wait to get hold of next summer.
Fairy tale-inspired looks are all over the runway, presented through luxurious tailoring and reinterpreted for modern-day heroines.
Rochas
The first things from Rochas that impress are the tinsel-fronted sling backs that are not only seen on the runway but also on the fashionistas on the front row – think Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Battaglia. The playful and feminine aesthetics are seen throughout the collection. Military-esque belts and structured jackets add a twist to the feminine frocks. Alessandra Dell’Acqua’s second collection for Rochas shows his expert use of fabrics.
Layering a sheer tulle dress over a shirt featuring multiple forms of lace, this look conveys lightness and elegance.
The humming bird print from Rochas’ archives is used as a print and embroidery throughout the collection.
The military-esque belt cinched over the bust creates a Korean Hanbok-esque look.
