Bello Yellow: Minions inspire three fashionable choices

Minion fever has hit the fashion world

The Minions movie hits the big screens in Hong Kong tomorrow (9 July 2015), but the adorable yellow creatures have already made their mark in the luxury world.

From getting their very own shade from Pantone – aptly named Minion Yellow – to seemingly being friends with fashion’s elite (see video), the lovable characters have clearly become fashion royalty.

To celebrate the launch of the movie, channel your best minion-look from head to toe with some of these designer pieces.

Piers Atkinson

Hats off to the minions! Piers Atkinson designs fun pieces for everyone

Piers Atkinson is known for crafting bespoke headwear for the glitzy and glamourous – but he has found a new muse in the Minions. Suitable for everyone, whatever your style, his collection includes a mini bowler, forward cap, backward cap, beanie and two pompom headbands.

The collection is available in Hong Kong exclusively at On Pedder.

Giles Deacon

Embrace the 60s with Giles Deacon's mod designs

In tune with the new film, which is partly set in the 1960s, Giles Deacon has designed mod-shift dresses and embellished T-shirts. Bold and whimsical, this collection is best suited for those who truly want to embrace minions into the wardrobe and their lives.

The collection is available at London’s Selfridges.

Rupert Sanderson

Classic with a twist, Rupert Sanderson's Minion inspired heels will bring whimiscal fun to any outfit

For a more subtle approach to incorporate some Minion love into your outfit, opt for these court heels from Rupert Sanderson. These shoes made their red carpet debut at The Minion’s premiere in LA, when Sandra Bullock, who voices Scarlet Overkill, showed us just how fashionably chic these heels can be.

The shoes are available exclusively at London’s Selfridges.
