Lyanature by Lee Young-ae
While Lee embraces the concept of “less is more” with her collection and products, the actress was extremely hands-on with the production of her first collection. From the formulation and creation to the casting, the star was heavily involved to ensure her 100% preservatives-free products best reflect her vision.

We caught up with creative director Bo Kyung Lee of Lyanature by Korean actress Lee Young-ae at the launch of her new collection at Joyce Beauty last week.
Was Lee Young-ae very hands-on with the project?
Yes, she has been [heavily] involved in creating the products, selecting the ingredients, and even during the casting.
Can you tell us more about her beauty philosophy?
Lee wants to live a very natural lifestyle, so she moved to the countryside with her children. She [wants] to use non-hazardous ingredients to create healthier products that are good for the skin and the future of our environment. That’s why she decided to use 100% botanical leaves. [Lee] worked with an expert dermatologist, who formulates all products in a lab that is a five-minute walk away from her house.
