The master shoemaker ventures into the universe of beauty and cosmetics with aesthetically striking products. Following the debut of the nail polish inspired by the brand’s super-tall Ballerina Ultima shoe, Louboutin has also released a lipstick series, Rouge Louboutin, inspired by Babylonian architecture, art deco and Middle Eastern antiquities. Available in three finishes – silky satin, velvet matte and sheer voile – the lipstick can also be worn as a pendant. Priced at HK$800, the lipstick comes in colours inspired by iconic Louboutin shoes and bags.

 

 

LA PRAIRIE BACCARAT CRYSTAL BOWL

Limited to only 1,500 jars, the La Prairie Caviar Spectaculaire sets you back a good HK$19,150 for 75ml of the brand’s lifting and firming Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. In collaboration with luxury crystal maker Baccarat, Swiss beauty brand La Prairie takes the luxury level up a notch for its signature cream. The shape of the crystal jar is inspired by Baccarat’s iconic Harcourt 1841 hexagonal design. The crystal facets reflect light perfectly.

 

 

 

GUERLAIN ORCHIDEE IMPERIALE LIMITED EDITION

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Guerlain’s ultraluxury Orchidée Impériale cream, the brand releases a limited-edition series of the cream featuring a cap delicately engraved with orchid blossoms – a key ingredient of the antiwrinkle and fineline moisturiser. The limited-edition cream is priced at HK$12,220 for 200ml. Only 120 pieces are available for the Hong Kong market.

Created by Kiehl’s heiress Jami Morse and her husband Klaus Heidegger, this brand’s luxury beauty products feature highquality ingredients such as stem cells and antioxidants. Art directors Diana Ayanna and Siddhu Sudarshan are responsible for creative direction of the brand. Special packaging is designed to keep the ingredients airtight and fresh. The entire set includes facial moisturiser, serum, cream and eye concentrate, and is priced from HK$3,750 to HK$4,350.

 

 

 

LA MER X BOUCHERON

French high jeweller Boucheron created a made-to-order mother-of-pearl jar for Crème de la Mer. The jar is embellished with Boucheron’s iconic gold-plated “Clous de Paris” decoration to accentuate the preciousness of the cream. The handcrafted jar takes about three months to finish. The set, including the La Mer cream, is priced at HK$116,810.
