1. Changes are looming at the historic house of Lanvin. The first show after former creative director Alber Elbaz's departure took place at Lycée Carnot where Givenchy and Alexander McQueen showed in previous seasons. The new aw16 series is credited as the collective work of the Lanvin creative studio.

2. References of traditional men’s tailoring are reinterpreted to strike a contrast with delicate silk or iridescent lace ensembles in pastel hues. 

 

3. Jewel-tone hues and metallics dominate the palette for Lanvin's aw16 collection. Aristocrat French interiors inspired the vibrant colours.

 

4. Pure opulence – the collection is filled with decadent velvet juxtaposed jacquard and brocade fabrics and lush fur printed in eclectic shades. 

 

5. Statement jewellery plays a key role in Lanvin’s winter silhouette. We are in love with the long and exaggerated earrings and coloured crystal chokers.
