1. The fashion crowd braved the pouring rain for Louis Vuitton’s aw16 show at Fondation Louis Vuitton. The venue was decorated by mirror-tiled columns inspired by Parisian artist Justin Morin’s works.
2. Jackets buttoned at the waist with nicely-tailored boxy-cut top and A-line bottom are interpreted in a few variations and are often worn over skin-tight leather pants that we are dying to score a pair for winter. The long and lean silhouette with a cinched waist is also rendered in leather harness details matched with bias-cut slip dresses.
3. Romantic prints are also included in the aw16 looks – think scarf-printed skirts with asymmetrical handkerchief hems or skirts with ruffle hems matched with colourful printed knits. We also love a few numbers featuring sequins embroidered on top of prints.
4. The maison, known for its leather goods, strikes again this season with a series of covetable leather bags and shoes. We spotted a Twist bag with a scarf-wrapped top handle and variations of Petite Malle and vanity cases.
