Gentlemen looking for a pair of well-made shoes with a perfect fit should check out John Lobb. The design house is an expert in making beautiful bespoke shoes, drawing from its more than 150 years of history. Extra care is taken to ensure comfort and style.
The entire experience is guided by François Maddonini, John Lobb's last-maker. It takes at least eight to 10 months to a complete a pair of bespoke shoes, spread across three appointments.
In the first meeting, clients share their shoe preferences with Maddonini, who also advises on leather types and shoe styles. In the second meeting, Maddonini compares a mock-up with the client's foot, and final measurements are made. The third meeting is where the client can pick up their shoes.
