A Lange & Söhne launches the first mechanical split-seconds chronograph in the world

With a classic dial design, it is a jumping seconds wristwatch based on a historical watch made by Walter Lange’s great-grandfather Ferdinand Adolph Langein 1867.

Lange CEO Wilhelm Schmid and an internationally recognised leading specialist in the watch market, Aurel Bacs, announced the auction at the SIHH booth of A. Lange & Söhne.

The Children Action foundation is a Swiss charity that helps disadvantaged children and young people all over the world.

In 1994, Swiss businessman Bernard Sabrier created the foundation, whose motto is “Every child has a right to childhood”. So far, more than 80,000 children have benefited from its projects.
