If you’ve ever wondered what the Cavinder twins do to stay fit and healthy – and look as enviably toned as they do – then you’re no doubt already excited about their latest post. The girls grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, and have three other sisters, according to GQ. According to the magazine, Haley and Hanna always had a competitive edge and began playing basketball from a young age.

The New York Post reports that the twins began playing at Fresno State university and played for All-Mountain West. Per ESPN, they played for three seasons there before transferring to Miami. USA Today has described the pair as “trailblazers”.

They’re social media sensations

The Cavinders started getting famous just a couple of years ago during the pandemic. According to Forbes, they used TikTok to pass the time during the Covid-19 outbreaks, and gained popularity for their viral dances and basketball-related clips. They also have a huge following on YouTube and Instagram.

These twins have extended their talents beyond sports and social media, and dabble in business-related dealings too. Per Forbes and NY Post, they’ve signed partnerships with over 30 brands including Crocs, Venmo, Dr Pepper, Victoria’s Secret, Boost Mobile, WWE and many more. It’s also been reported that they’ve made upwards of US$2 million from these endorsements to date.

They called out a publication for criticising them

Haley and Hanna are unafraid to make public statements, especially when it pertains to their image.

After granting an interview to The Free Press, the twins said they were “disappointed and disgusted” with the resulting article, which assessed their rise in the sporting world, only to come to the conclusion that their success was based on their looks rather than their talent, and that other, more capable athletes were being passed over for endorsements by big brands as a result.

“Haley and I welcomed this man into our home. He followed us throughout the entire weekend asking us questions and understanding what goes on in our daily lives. After the weekend we had a sit-down interview in our kitchen for over an hour and was only asked one question about our ‘physical looks’,” they wrote in a statement.

They partnered with Jake Paul’s company

In April, it was reported that the twins were set to partner with YouTuber Jake Paul’s online gambling and media platform, Betr. They were later spotted sitting ringside at a Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz match in August.

Do the twins still play basketball?

It’s been a whirlwind couple of years for these two talented ladies – but are they still playing the sport they love?

According to ESPN, Haley previously announced in April that she and her twin were set to retire from basketball. But a new report in October outlined that Haley alone intends to play during the 2024-25 season.

“I started with [Hanna], so at the end of the day, I want to end basketball and start our new lives together, but it was definitely difficult for me,” Haley previously said. Either way, it seems both twins will remain in the spotlight, as they regularly post photos and videos of their daily lives across their social media platforms and on their podcast, Twin Talk.
