In tandem with the closing of the 5th Global Tourism Economy Forum in Macau, the Musée du Louvre held a gala dinner at the newly built Wynn Palace to support the museum’s exhibition, “Invention of the Louvre: Eight Centuries of French History through the Museum’s Collections”.

Attracting more than 500 guests including influential tourism ministers, government representatives, business leaders and VIPs from around the globe, the dinner saw the presence of internationally acclaimed jewellery artist and member of the International Council of the Louvre Cindy Chao, whose Foliage earrings from the Four Seasons collection were among the lots donated to the evening’s auction of fine wines, art and luxury accessories presented by Christie’s.
