Real Madrid star Ronaldo Nazario will jet in to Hong Kong this week. On Saturday, the Brazilian football legend will join fans in Tsim Sha Tsui’s Harbour City as Real Madrid’s club ambassador for Dreams Foundation – the Real Madrid Foundation’s partner in Hong Kong. The event will focus on promoting the foundation’s socio-sporting projects in Asia.

The football legend will also be visiting his newly launched Ronaldo Academy in Hong Kong to meet some of the academy’s students.

He has set up football schools in more than 50 locations in Brazil, China and the United States. The Ronaldo Academy Hong Kong was launched in January this year with courses being conducted at West Island School in Pok Fu Lam and the Hong Kong Academy in Sai Kung.

Nazario’s last visit to Hong Kong was in 2003 during Real Madrid’s Asia Tour with fellow teammates Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos and David Beckham. The full-house exhibition match at the Hong Kong Stadium pulled in over 40,000 audiences.
