The boy band and singer will be part of star-studded line-up of entertainers taking part in the event at Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium on Sunday

 K-pop star CL and boy band EXO will take part in the closing ceremony at the Winter Olympics in South Korea this weekend. 

They will part of a star-studded line-up of entertainers who are expected to perform at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium on Sunday evening.

A “surprise guest” will help to heat up the festive mood during the ceremony, which will have “fusion” as its theme, according to Song Seung-hwan, director of the event.

EXO’s lead vocalist Baek Hyun sang Korea’s national anthem at the opening ceremony of the International Olympic Committee general assembly on February 5.

CL, a member of the former K-pop girl band, 2NE1, has found fame in the United States after being nominated as one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in 2016.
