Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun signs up with with Namoo Actors, joining a line-up of top Korean stars

Namoo Actors posted this picture of its new client, Seohyun, on Instagram.

South Korean actress and singer Seohyun has officially signed with a new agency, Namoo Actors.

The agency revealed the news on its Instagram page, saying, “Spring has come to Namoo!”

 

The singer-turned-actress first made her name as a member of the hit K-pop group Girls’ Generation in 2007. Six years later, she made her major TV breakthrough, playing Han Yoo-rim in Passionate Love. She has also been active in the theatre industry, with lead roles in three productions from 2014, and was the voice of Edith in the Korean version of Despicable Me, released in 2010.

Seohyun left SM Entertainment, the agency which represented Girls’ Generation, at the end of 2017.

Namoo Actors has a strong line-up of stars, with A-list actresses Park Min-young, Shin Sae-kyeong, Moon Geun-young and Kim Hyang-gi, as well as veteran actor Lee Joon-ki.
