British Fashion Awards 2016 honour the industry’s best talent
The chilly London weather didn’t stop fashion’s trendsetters turning out en masse at the annual Fashion Awards organised by the British Fashion Council last night.
Jean Campbell too opted for a stunning lace gown from Alexander McQueen’s spring-summer 2017 collection.
The fight for the spotlight on the red carpet might be heated, but the winners of this year’s Fashion Awards well deserved their honour.
Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen won this year’s British Brand award.
Simone Rocha and Craig Green were named designer of the year for womenswear and menswear, respectively.
It was double joy for Gucci and designer Demna Gvasalia. Gucci’s CEO Marco Bizzarri was named International Business Leader while the brand’s creative director Alessandro Michele was honoured with the International Accessories Designer award.
Gvasalia won two awards as well. He was praised for elevating his own brand Vetements and also for his work for Balenciaga.
