As the first luxury sleeper train to travel throughout the island of Ireland, Belmond's Grand Hibernian covers 2,217 kilometres between picturesque towns and historic cities.

To mark its inaugural journey in early September, the train embarked on a grand tour through Dublin, Cork, Killarney, Galway, Westport, Belfast and Waterford.

With en-suite facilities, crystal jewellery stands and goose down pillows and duvets, the cabins are quintessentially luxurious.

Using local ingredients, the head chef prepares classic Irish dishes with contemporary flair. 

The Grand Hibernian offers three different itineraries for up to 40 guests. Their season runs from April to October.
