Jewellery enthusiasts should have their schedule books ready. L’ÉCOLE, The School of Jewellery Arts, is returning to Hong Kong. Courses will be held at the Qube at PMQ from September 16 to October 1.

Hosted by Van Cleef & Arpels, L’ÉCOLE features 10 educational courses focused around three themes: savoir-faire, art history of jewellery, and the universe of gemstones. The courses, which range from two to four hours, only cater up to 12 students.

Jewellery fans can learn about the history of jewellery. They will also be taught how to distinguish between similar stones and all the steps it takes to create a piece of high jewellery. The more artistically-inclined will have the opportunity to try their hand at Japanese urushi lacquering techniques.
