Luxury watchmaker Blancpain’s upcoming exhibition will bring veteran artisans from Switzerland to demonstrate some of the most sophisticated traditional craftsmanship to Hong Kong fans.

The Metiers d’art exhibition, which runs on November 10 and 11 at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, will showcase traditional skills, such as enamelling, engraving and shakudo – a special technique which transforms the colour of a gold alloy to a subtle shade of black or grey. Unique timepieces created via the special techniques will also be showcased at the exhibition.
