Swiss watchmaker RJ unveils PAC-MAN™ tribute timepiece
Only 80 of limited-edition PAC-MAN™ Level III watches made in collaboration with Japanese video game company Bandai Namco Entertainment
The Geneva based watchmaker RJ has just released its newest timepiece, the limited-edition PAC-MAN™ Level III – created in tribute to the beloved arcade game.
Produced in collaboration with Japanese video game company Bandai Namco Entertainment, the watch’s black dial has a mirror-polished finish and a polished titanium bezel that sets the stage for the game.
The face of the watch depicts the famous maze where PAC-MAN™ is on the run from ghosts and chomps on the signature Pac-Dots and cherries.
These token characters from the game have been carefully fixed to the dial and hand-filled with various coloured lacquers.
The blue aluminium walls of the maze are sanded on the edges, polished on the top, and filled with a black lacquer to emphasise the 3D effect.
The watch brand’s initials, in a satin finish, are positioned at 12 o’clock on the dial.
