Xi Jinping

General Secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee,  Vice President of the PRC, Chairman of the Central Military Commission

Xi Jinping was elected to be the General Secretary of the Chinese Communisty Party and Chairman of the Central Military Commission in18th Party Congress in 2012, replacing Hu Jintao to be the paramount leader of China. The 59-year-old Xi is set to become President of China in March 2013. Xi is son of a veteran leader of communist party. He graduated from Tsinghua University in 1979 with a degree in engineering.
