Hong Kong student's poem recital goes viral in the mainland

Hong Kong student Leung Yat-fung became an internet sensation after a recent clip of him reciting two classic Chinese poems in his native Cantonese onstage went viral on social media.

While some said they found Leung's emotionally charged performance entertaining and creative, others said it was an overkill.

This is an art form. Soon to be a lost Cantonese art form perhaps. Similar to Cantonese operas. Fewer and fewer participants and fewer and fewer audience.
No matter how courageous he is, no matter the strength and conviction to do - if that act is idiotic, it is still idiotic. You don't give credit to Adolf Hilter for his courage to implement the "Final Resolution" and his strength and conviction to carry out the Holocaust.
Give him credit for having the strength and conviction to do this; art can never be ridiculed if an individual is courageous enough to do something despite the ridicule he will face, so well done young man!
