Another actor arrested for drugs in Beijing; live maggots found in man

Thirty-five private vehicles were vandalised in a car park in the Chaoyang district overnight on Saturday, the Beijing Evening News reports. The drivers called police on Sunday but found nothing had been stolen from their cars.

Thirty-five private vehicles were vandalised in a car park in the Chaoyang district overnight on Saturday, the Beijing Evening News reports. The drivers called police on Sunday but found nothing had been stolen from their cars. The case is under investigation.

Another artist has been detained by police for using crystal meth on Saturday, Caijing.com.cn reports, citing Beijing police. The 45-year-old actor and model, Hu Dong is the 10th celebrity, including movie and television stars, to be detained on drug offences in a vice crackdown in the capital. Jaycee Chan, son of Chinese kung fu star Jackie Chan, was formally arrested during a raid on his Beijing residence on August 14.
