Hong Kong street racers held; nanny kidnaps child; miserly husband sued

A man has been jailed for stealing from dormitories at a military camp in Xiamen , the news website Fjsen.com reports. He got in by climbing a tree and jumping over a fence. The man was later caught by security guards. He had taken about 11,000 yuan (HK$13,900). He was jailed for nine months and fined 1,000 yuan.

Police in Fuzhou are investigating a logistics company after it ignored a court order to pull down 21 storage buildings it put up illegally on agricultural land, Fuzhou Daily reports. A number of officials at the company have been detained by the police. A court has told the village authority in the area to demolish the buildings.
