A 100-year-old grandmother in China’s Jiangsu province lived in a pigpen next to his son’s house for three years, Jiangsu City Television station reported.
Her son, Chen Shoutian, said his mother wanted to live in the pigpen because it was “clean and convenient”.
When asked by the TV crew if he would be willing to live in the pigpen himself, he said nothing.
The 100-year-old woman was not able to speak due to her old age.
Chen has six rooms in his house, said the report.
Chen has since moved his mother inside the house. She now lives in a kitchen, the report said.
