This is the dramatic moment a motorist escaped certain death after a landslide in Taiwan caused a giant boulder to crash onto a road.

Filmed on a dashboard-mounted camera by Lai Hong-wei, the vehicle in front is pushed into the oncoming lane in the initial landslide. Moments later, the boulder hits the road, narrowly missing the white sedan.

According to local news network ETTV, the driver and passenger escaped with only minor injuries.

The landslide was the result of adverse weather triggered by Tropical Storm 'Kong-Rey', which has battered Taiwan for the last week.
