A nine-year-old boy had his arm bitten off by a black bear after attempting to feed the animal through the bars of its cage at a zoo in central China.
According to The Paper, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon at a zoo inside Pingdingshan Hebin Park in Henan province.
The boy – who has not been identified – had visited the park with his grandfather, but was reportedly exploring the zoo by himself when he came across the bear exhibit. He stuck his right arm through the bars of the bear’s cage in an attempt to feed it only for the bear to bite it off.
