Update‘Don’t just show me a flaperon. Show me more’: Relatives of missing on flight MH370 demand answers

China has called on Malaysia's government to continue investigating what happened to the missing airliner MH370 after debris found on an island in the Indian Ocean was confirmed to have come from the aircraft.
The call comes as relatives of passengers and crew on board the missing plane said the retrieval of a section of wing from the aircraft creates more questions than answers and does little to prove what happened to their loved ones.
Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak said on Thursday that a wing segment, or flaperon, found on Reunion island was from the Boeing 777 that went missing in March last year with 239 passengers and crew on board.
Hua Chunying, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, said in a statement that China wants Malaysia's government to uphold its pledge to continue investigating the cause of the accident and do all in its power to ensure the legal rights of the families of passengers.
Family members of the missing gathered outside the offices of Malaysia Airlines in Beijing on Thursday morning, amid a heavy presence of police and media.
Many relatives held up placards, with one saying, "I don't want compensation, give me back my family".
