The wedding stinger: bride-to-be knocked out after excited groomsmen toss her up but can’t catch her
A woman was knocked unconscious at her wedding after groomsmen threw her into the air in celebration and she hit the ground, a Chinese news portal reports.
The incident occurred in Tengzhou city in the eastern province of Shandong two weeks ago, according to Iqilu.com.
The woman was getting out of a car when the men grabbed her and lifted her in their arms, then threw her several feet upwards. They failed to catch her before she fell to the ground and slammed her head.
The woman was rushed to hospital where she was diagnosed as suffering a concussion. She was released two days later.
It was unclear whether the wedding would go ahead.
