China Railway has adopted a new verification system for booking tickets on its website, but the tricky questioning process has flummoxed most users, Chinese media reports.

After logging in their username and password, would-be travellers are presented with rows of images and must correctly match one with a listed word, according to the news website ThePaper.cn.
