An officer asked the student to get into a police car and kicked him in the leg after he failed to open the door. The incident was recorded by the other student with his mobile phone, the report said.

When the police officer realised he was being filmed, he demanded the recording be handed over, but the students refused. The brother of the student who was kicked took the phone and left the scene and the two students were brought back to the police station, the report said
