Fancy a walk across this bridge? China completes building of world’s longest, highest glass-bottomed bridge
Engineering marvel, which can hold up to 800 visitors at a time, is not meant for the faint-hearted

Construction of the world’s longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge above the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon in central China has been completed.
Located against the scenic backdrop of Tianmenshan National Forest Park in Hunan province, the bridge, which is 393 metres long and hangs 300 metres above ground, offers a breathtaking view of the natural surroundings.

The skywalk, mostly made of large glass panels, can hold up to 800 visitors at a time.
Though the construction was expected to be finished by the end of last year, work was completed only recently, news photo website Imagechina reported on Tuesday.
The opening was delayed because of heavy rainfall. It is likely to open in July.
The engineering marvel beats the walkway above the Grand Canyon in Arizona, which sits at an altitude of 720 metres.
