13 injured, teacher thrown out of window in nursery school bus crash in northern China
Truck driver detained after accident in Henan province, newspaper reports
Thirteen people were injured after a nursery school bus was hit by a truck in northern China, according to a newspaper report.
Two people were seriously injured in the accident in Sui county in Henan province, the Beijing Youth Daily said, citing the local government.
The truck driver has been detained by the police and an investigation into the crash is underway.
The bus was carrying more than 30 children and teachers when the accident happened on Wednesday morning.
One of the teachers was thrown out of a window in the crash.
Residents in the area told the newspaper that traffic lights at the junction where the accident happened were not working.
The local government also denied another newspaper report that six had died in the accident.
