Flight returns to Beijing after fire in engine

A Delta Airlines flight from Beijing to Detroit had to return to the Beijing International Airport because of an engine problem on Friday afternoon.

Videos circulating on China’s social media showed one of the plane’s engines on fire.

The flight took off at 4.33pm and landed back at Beijing airport at about 5.50pm.

No injuries were reported on the Airbus A330-223.
