Chinese tourists injured in bus crash on Thai island
Twenty holiday makers treated in hospital after vehicle leaves road on Phuket
Twenty Chinese tourists have been injured after a tour bus ran off the road and hit another two vehicles in Phuket in southern Thailand.
The accident happened at around 8pm local time on Sunday near a hill in Patong, according to a report on China News Agency.
The tour bus, which was carrying 22 Chinese passengers, failed to brake and rolled on its side before colliding with a van and a car.
The injured 20 tourists were sent to hospital and there were no fatalities.
The report said the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
Last month, a 10-year-old boy and his father were killed on the island after a tour bus lost control and overturned in Patong.
