The allegations centred on a kindergarten in Beijing this week are the latest in a series of cases of alleged abuse at nursery schools in China.

Allegations against staff at the RYB Education New World kindergarten in the Chaoyang district of the capital include piercing children with needles and sexual molestation, state media reported. Some teachers at the nursery school have been suspended as the police investigate, the state-run news agency Xinhua said.
