Best roadsters on the block: DJ Lamb builds up buzz for Shell and Lego's Ferrari replicas

DJ Jan Lamb Hoi-fung got in touch with his inner child at the launch of Shell's new promotion at New Town Plaza Phase III in Sha Tin. The father of two excitedly climbed into a life-sized replica of a Ferrari F150 Italia made out of Lego at Saturday's event.

The talk show host and comedian denied rumours that he was locked in a dispute with Stephen Chan Chi-wan, his new boss at Commercial Radio, who has been introducing a number of changes since he joined the station. Lamb said changes and an injection of new ideas were necessary for a company to move forward - just like a vehicle needs an injection of fuel.

Lamb said he would be taking some time off work to prepare for his upcoming concert with Softhand partner Eric Kot Man-fai and fellow pop group Grasshopper.

The replica - along with other Lego installations - will be on display at the mall until Sunday.

Shell was promoting its collaboration with Ferrari and the Lego Group, which have jointly created six limited-edition mini Ferrari models.

Anyone who guesses how many Lego bricks it took to build the Ferrari replica has the chance to win a HK$3,800 Shell fuel voucher, which can be redeemed at service stations, or win a model.
