As the debate rages over the East China Sea islands, Twins popstar Charlene Choi Cheuk-yin and former actress Michelle Reis have cancelled Japan-related jobs, but in the beauty world it is business as usual.

TVB actress Leanne Li Ya-nan was a guest of honour as Japanese beauty brand Ipsa launched its premium anti-ageing products on Tuesday.

She was joined by Ipsa chief executive Toshitada Hori, who flew in from Tokyo to officiate at the launch ceremony in Hung Hom's Hotel Icon.

The beauty shared grooming tips and highlighted her favourite products from the collection to other guests.

TVB host Yolanda Ng Chung-lan, who was the gymnastics commentator for the station's London Olympics coverage, provided some entertainment, wowing the crowd with a show of graceful athletic moves.
